Pilot celebrated 100th Anniversary with Limited Edition The Seven Gods of Good Fortune Fountain Pen. The Seven Gods of Fortune are Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin and Hoteison. Bishamonten's origins can be traced back to Hinduism, but he has been adapted by the Japanese culture. He comes from the Hindu god Kubera and is also known by the name "Vaisravana" from Hindu culture.He is the god of fortune in war and battles and protects those who follow the rules and behave appropriately. He is represented dressed in armour and a helmet, carrying a pagoda in his left hand and holds a spear in his right hand to fight against the evil spirits. The fountain pen in Yukari size has a 18kt gold nib and is complemented by gold trim. Each pen comes in a wooden box with a 50ml bottle of matching limited edition Iroshizuku ink and a leather pen wrap. Limited to 150 fountain pens.
