Platinum has always had a heart-shaped breather hole in their nibs. Historically they have taken the heart-shaped cutouts to be melted down and put back into making more nibs. With the "Shape of Heart" #3776, they use two of the stamped-out gold hearts and incorporate them into the gorgeous finial adorned with sparkling crystals.
With their innovative cap design, the "Slip & Seal" mechanism in this #3776 Century model prevents the ink from drying out for up to 24 months.
The body of the pen is made from a tan and off-white resin body with a pleasant matte texture and rose gold trim, beautifully accentuated with rose gold plated elements.
