NAKAYA's urushi fountain pens are lacquered in Aizu, Kaga or Wajima. Piccolo Long is specially made for Aesthetic Bay and we own the exclusivity of this size. The Piccolo Long has the same dimensions as Nakaya Cigar Portable. These pens are without clips.
"Tame" means "pool" and "nuri" refers to the lacquer coating process. You can actually see through the layers of clear urushi lacquer as if you were looking into a pool.
The moon, a fox and its footprint are drawn by Tame-sukashi; Susuki (Japanese silver glass) is drawn by Yakoh-Makie. However, we heaped up a whole body of the fox by shu-ai urushi after drawing by Tame-sukashi technique for not only a belly is higher than others. A base model is the Piccolo Long Cigar size.
